The Co. had a chance to meet up with new pal Patrick over at Mosley Tribes a bit ago to talk about a few things. There are many, many amazing things going on at the MT camp and Patrick was nice enough to share a bit with us. Unfortunately they are the “no photo” kind of things as well, so you’ll have to take my word for it…awesome! Big thanks to Patrick for the talk and tour. This is my dad circa 1971. Navy man, world traveler, craftsman, expert cook, and overall cool cat. Pops has always been an inspiration to me, whether I knew it or not. One of the greatest surprises in my life has been slowly finding out exactly how much we have in common. Although, I can’t say that I’m on the same level just yet. But hell, these photos set the “cool” bar pretty high. Happy Dad Day to you and yours. Hope you had a good one.

Don’t Tread On Me.

The world is officially kicked off this morning, and like Janet’s back up dancer says in this clip from ESPN, its about expectation for our boys. This is the second world cup that I’ve been wrapped in, so that adds up to about 4-5 years of highs and lows with the always scrappy under dogs (my kinda party). This cup is the first time I think we might have a legit shot. Of course the entire planet would disagree, where football (soccer) has been around for hundreds of years. We’ve only been able to get Americans to back the beautiful game for roughly 15 years. If you haven’t given it a chance yet. The Americans will play England tomorrow morning in what I believe will be a on field reenactment of the American Revolution. Go Yanks!
