Tribal Meetings

Picture 1

The Co. had a chance to meet up with new pal Patrick over at Mosley Tribes a bit ago to talk about a few things. There are many, many amazing things going on at the MT camp and Patrick was nice enough to share a bit with us. Unfortunately they are the “no photo” kind of things as well, so you’ll have to take my word for it…awesome! Big thanks to Patrick for the talk and tour. Some radness is definitely on the way, so keep your eyes peeled.

Jyumoku. Recycled, Radness.

Life takes us all on few different turns, creative types seem to have a few more lefts and rights then average . That holds true for my  former clasemate and buddy, Ted Galvez. I first met Ted in college almost ten years ago. We were both hungry advertising students, and even back then you could tell Ted was going to do some great things. Recently, through a little facebook lurking, I found out about his newest project. Jyumoku. Amazingly handmade bags that he’s pieced together using “recycled” materials. To  quote another friend Len (02Motorworks), it’s not the first time that someone has made bags in this fashion, but Ted definitely brings a unique take on it. Whether its the time and care put into the construction, or the beautiful mix of fabrics, Jyumoku is definitely a brand to watch. Keep following those turns, and keep up the good work buddy!

Find out more about Jyumoku, and don’t forget to check the web store. If your lucky, he might have a few in stock.!

Deep in The Heart of Texas.

Friday, April 16th, 2010

So I spent most of the last week moving back home to good ol’ San Diego (I’ll skip the Ron Burgundy jokes). Immediately after I unpacked my last box, I was on a plane to Austin for the éS Spring 11 photo shoot. 4 days, 30 acres, 6 skaters, 6 bb guns, 4 goats and a whole lot of beer drinkin’. I’m sorry I ever doubted you Austin, never again.

You Are Here.

Tuesday, April 6th, 2010

My younger brother Andrew has been taken some mighty good photos for a while now. I bug him every now and again to let me post some, but he’s usually busy being awesome. But I got lucky this time. One of the few kids I know that shoot film, he’s been compiling quite a collection of rad shots from around the way. Mostly him and his rabid band of skate rats knee deep in some sort of shenanigans. Who says youth is wasted on the young. More rad here.

0 pommier glasses

Scott Pommier is one of the many photographers I’ve been a fan of for years but never even knew it. Maybe better known for is skate compositions, it definitely doesn’t stop there. I just pulled this one off the 4Q Conditioning blog…pretty damn cool if you ask me.

know1

By now most of you out there that follow The Co. know of our guy, the unofficial mayor of Hong Kong, Brian. One of the 18 jobs Brian and wife Annie hold down is their brand Know1edge.  Earlier this year they were nice enough to ask me to get some graphics together for their Fall 09 season. Even got a nice little shout out on Brian’s Hypebeast Blog. These are little sample of what came to be. Go get you some!

SS’s SEMA Surprise

Wednesday, November 4th, 2009

Our good buddy Sean Smith (SS Design/The So-So’s) is set to reveal his latest project for the SEMA show this week in Las Vegas. Sean’s no stranger to the SEMA show, or designing beauties like these at least once a year. If your lucky enough to get out to the show this year you’ll have to check out SS’s Mustang for sure, it will probably be the one with some sort of 6 ft. trophy next to it. Holy shit Sean, this thing is mean!
